Michael
A. Cunha - Director, President Mr.
Cunha graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University with a B.S. in
Psychology and from Chapman College with a MBA in Accounting and Economics. Mr.
Cunha maintains over twenty-one years of experience in manufacturing, accounting,
and finance and senior management. Mr. Cunha has served as Corporate Controller
of Andermac, Inc., a medical equipment manufacturer, for eight years. While at
Andermac, under his direction the company was fully automated and market share
grew to 50% of the California market and 25% nationwide. Mr. Cunha left Andermac
and started InterMag, Inc, a magnetic media manufacturer, in 1991 with four other
individuals. Mr. Cunha oversaw the development of the initial contract with Iomega
to manufacturer Iomega 100 Zip disks. During his tenure, the company grew from
$0 to $72M in three years. |

Maurice C. Kemp,
Ph.D. - Chief Technical Officer Dr.
Kemp is a highly regarded research scientist with a Ph.D. in medical microbiology
with specialization in virology and an extensive background in biochemistry. His
experience includes over twenty years in virus and biochemical research in viral
genetics, antiviral and viral pathogenesis (in vitro and in vivo), adjuvants,
immunostimulants, cytokines and wound healing. He was a visiting Research Scientist
at the Centers for Disease Control with concentration on the study of AIDS and
respiratory viral diseases from 1980 to 1982. Dr. Kemp held the position of Assistant
Professor of Microbiology and Immunology as well as Assistant Professor of Neurology
at the University of Colorado Medical Center from 1982-1985. From 1985-1992 he
was Associate Professor of Veterinary Microbiology at Texas A&M University.
From 1987 to 1992 he was a consultant for Carrington Laboratories and a Senior
Research Scientist for Carrington Laboratories from 1992 to 1994. He is a co-founder
of Mionix Corporation. He has many honors and awards including Who's Who in Science
and Engineering and National Cancer Institute Fellowships. Dr. Kemp taught several
university courses in the fields of medical microbiology and virology to medical,
dental, veterinary and nursing students at the undergraduate, graduate and professional
levels. He has numerous domestic and international publications, abstracts and
presentations and is very well known and highly regarded for his research and
development of immunopharmacologic and antiviral products. |  | Ann

- Controller and Corporate Secretary Ann
Thein is a graduate of National University, Sacramento, receiving a Bachelors
of Business Administration in Financial Accounting degree and a Masters of Business
Administration from Phoenix University, Rocklin. She is a practicing Certified
Public Accountant licensed in California. Ann has many years of experience in
public and private accounting. She has been a member of the Mionix team since
1997 serving in many capacities as well as Accounting Manager and currently as
Controller. Ann lives in Rocklin with her husband. They have five children
and five grandchildren. She also serves as treasurer for Sacramento Valley Sertoma,
a local service club which raises money to assist the hearing and speech impaired
in the Sacramento Valley region. |
